The Network Model (Simple by Design)

Our model is intentionally transparent and easy to understand.

Every Sky Alleys Network member commits to the same structure:

  • 80% of commissions stay with you – You keep the majority of the value you create.
  • 10% goes to the Network Growth Fund – Used for marketing, partnerships, events, content, and activities that expand the network and create new opportunities for everyone.
  • 10% goes to the Resilience Pool – Redistributed to Active Members to smooth downtime between projects, enable vacations without penalty and Create space to build bolder plays, new offerings, and strategic partnerships

All commissions are paid only after the customer pays. No retainers. No upfront fees. No disconnected incentives.


Why This Is Different from Traditional Consulting

What Is an “Active Member”?

Only Active Members are eligible for redistribution from the Resilience Pool. This ensures fairness, transparency, and protection against free riding.

To be an Active Member, you must:

A) Be in good standing (required)

  • Signed the Network Charter
  • Compliant with ethics, confidentiality, and client protections
  • Participating in regular network touchpoints

And meet at least one of the following:

B) Delivery engagement

  • Actively delivering a client project
  • Accountable for defined outcomes
  • Providing delivery leadership or on‑call execution support

C) Business development engagement

  • Actively shaping opportunities through introductions, discovery sessions, solution design, pricing and proposals, customer meetings
  • Activity is visible in the shared pipeline or CRM

D) Network‑building contribution

Contributing to initiatives funded by the Growth Fund, such as events or roundtables, content or thought leadership, contributions must have measurable outputs

Active status is reviewed quarterly.

How We Prevent Free Riding

This model only works if it is fair — and seen to be fair. We address this explicitly:

  • Clear eligibility rules -only Active Members participate in Resilience Pool redistribution.
  • Evidence‑based activity – delivery roles, pipeline activity, proposals, meetings, or documented network outputs are used to validate contribution.
  • Observer status – members who are temporarily inactive move to Observer status and do not receive redistribution until they re‑engage.

Transparency replaces politics. Rules replace negotiation.

How We Manage Volatility

Consulting is cyclical. We acknowledge that reality instead of hiding it.

  • Payments are made only after customers pay
  • The Resilience Pool helps smooth natural gaps between projects
  • Members are protected while building future opportunities, not forced into short‑term decisions

This is not a salary. It is shared resilience.

  • Objective Active Member criteria
