Introduction-Only
- Commission Basis: 5–10% of gross margin (approximately 1–3% of revenue).
- Scope: Warm introduction and limited follow-up activity.
- Coverage Window: Applies only to the introduced initiative; renewals and expansions are excluded
Co-Sell
- Commission: 10–15% of gross margin (approximately 3–5% of revenue).
- Scope: Partial involvement in the sales cycle.
- Coverage Window: Initial initiative plus expansions collected within 12 months of the original contract signature.
Full-Cycle Business Development
- Commission: 15–25% of gross margin (approximately 5–8% of revenue).
- Coverage Window: All Year 1 Collected Revenue, including time-and-materials work and approved change requests.
Strategic Deals
- Commission: Tiered 20–30% of gross margin (approximately 6–10% of revenue).
- Coverage Window: Year 1: Full commission on all collected revenue; Renewals: Declining commission rates as specified in the Work Order.
Account Farming
- Commission: 5–15% of revenue (tiered).
- Coverage Window: Year 1 at full rate; declining rates for Years 2–3 as mutually agreed.
Retainer
- Fee Model: Monthly retainer plus a 5–10% success fee on gross margin.
- Coverage Window: Applies to all first-year collected revenue arising from opportunities closed during the retainer period.
